More than half of Shree ram junior college success should be attributed to its study material. Lot of hard work and time is invested in preparing these knowledge banks. All the books and material are prepared by subject experts who possess decades of teaching experience. The information provided in them is exhaustive, qualitative and comprehensive and is in conformity with the new pattern syllabus. They are supplied to the students free of cost in addition to the theoretical notes and assignments.

Libraries

The well-stocked libraries Shree ram junior college is designed with all supporting infrastructure for all round knowledge and resource needs of students. They have wide range of reference books, periodicals and magazines on every subject and the educational CDs on IIT and Medical foundation programmes are available in the library.

Cultural and social activities

India has diverse multi-cultural and multi- religious heritage upholds this priceless tradition and takes utmost care to develop the ethnic values in the students. shree ram junior college conducts cultural meets and organizes arts competitions in its efforts to develop and promote socio-cultural talent in the students. These competitions give a change to students to exhibit their multifaceted talents to an eager audience.

Celebrating important days

Every New Year eve is a gala event at shree ram junior college and the Directors personally visit the campuses. All the members of shree ram junior college family come together and wish each other good luck, peace and prosperity throughout the New Year. The festive mood prevails on campuses on Teachers Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Christmas, Ramzan, Diwali, Holi, Farewell and Annual Days. Events on a grand scale take place on these special occasions.

Giving Back to Society

To inculcate social responsibility in students Shree ram vidya peeth has taken them through various spiritual and social activities like blood donation, helping the poor, lending a helping hand in times of natural calamities, etc. The faculty and the management also support them to participate in such activities at regular intervals.

Code of conduct for students

The Shree ram vidya peeth believes in creating a congenial educational environment in which the students, faculty and staff members function in an exemplary manner so as to ensure that the institute prepares students with Academic talent and attitude required for acquiring responsible Scholastic positions.

  • Every student is required to attend all the time-table classes, tutorials, practical and other prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities. The attendance can be condoned upto 15% on medical grounds or for other genuine reasons beyond the control of the students from the expected 100% attendance.
  • The attendance shall be counted from the date of opening of the school in the month of March every year.
  • The students are not allowed to go on leave from the school when classes are in progress, except under urgent circumstances and not more than three days. The leave has to be approved by the Principal before it is availed.
  • The students are expected to observe strict punctuality and avoid late coming to attend their classes. The Class-in-charge or concerned faculty is empowered to disallow the late comer(s)
  • The students are expected to follow the rules and regulations relating to Lab, Library, Hostel, Mess and Campus and any other order issued by the concerned authorities.
  • Each student will be issued an identity card. They must keep their identity card with them and produce before the concerned authority as and when required.
  • It is in the interest of the students that they should give their latest correct address, telephone contact nos. including mobile during the vacation. This will enable the School to contact them in case of exigencies.
  • The notice of general interest of Shree ram vidya peeth is displayed on the School’s notice board. Students should see these notice boards regularly for the latest information and compliance of various time bound requirement.

Academic Council

The Academic Council thoroughly supervises the year long academic activity meticulously as a representative of the head of the institution in different capacities/ways like:

  • Planning of the Entire Academic Activities for the session.
  • Planning of the “Annual-Calendar”.
  • To oversee the regular running of class along with subject–syllabus covers as per split-up syllabus.
  • To oversee/check the periodical written work like Assignment, class work as per predetermined time scheduled.
  • To organize the guest lecturers to enhance the subject knowledge of the concerned subject teachers and students as well.
  • To recommend the authority to make any academic changes in particular area, if required.
  • To oversee the onward submission of lesson plans for correction to the Principal.
  • Identify the slow learner, in different subjects of various standards and also chalk out constructive programs for their upliftment.
  • In short the academic council helps the authority in different capacities for the smooth running of academics in the school.
  • Framing of the Time–Table viz. Daily Routine, Class wise, Teacher wise, Remedial and Supervised time–table.
  • Duration of each period must be 35 or 50 minutes.
  • Music, Art, Library, period can be provided in the afternoon session.
  • Only the concerned subject teachers are to be put on duty for remedial teaching.
  • Only a few staff members will be put on duty during supervised study by turn.
  • The daily routine details of total no. of periods to be given to the teachers & no. of period to be allotted to each subject, class wise is given in this manual.
  • Framing of Special Time-Table for the personality enrichment of students.
  • The Coordinators are entirely answerable for the implementation of the activity/programme in a befitting manner. Record is must to be maintained.

Career Education and Counseling...

School views counseling as a way of helping young students through talking and listening.

The child or young person is encouraged to express their feelings and thoughts about their problem so they can understand themselves and their behavior better and therefore improve ways of coping.

  • Offers a regular space and time to talk or think about worries or difficulties.
  • Helps young people explore their feelings and look at how they might want things to be different, by talking and using a range of activities.
  • May be about developmental issues, resolving problems, improving relationships, making choices, coping with changes, gaining insight and understanding, growing as a person.
